Rohini nakshatra controls the face, mouth, tongue, tonsils, roof of the mouth, neck, upper part of the head and neck.

When this nakshatra is afflicted by inauspicious Grahas influence then these parts of the body suffer from  ailments.

• Apoplexy (Sunstroke)
• Obesity, Poor diet
• Sore throat
• Venereal disease

Brahmaji

is the Lord of the Rohini nakshatra.

To appease him,

Brahmins should be worshipped with white sandalwood, fragrance, lotus flowers, incense, lamp of ghee (butter clarified by boiling and straining) and sweets.

Honey, ghee and rice kheer (sweet made of rice & milk) should be cooked in milk and sacrificed.

“Apamarga” mool should be filled in yantra (talisman) and worn.

On the day of the Rohini nakshatra, donate seven cereals and the milk of a black cow.

Use the sacrificial mixture of “Apamarga” for the fire and mix sesame seeds and ghee  and recite the mantra for this deity 108 times.
