American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift
Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 14 to pursue a career in country music. She signed with the independent label Big Machine Records and became the youngest songwriter ever signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house. The release of Swift’s eponymous debut album in 2006 marked the start of her career as a country music singer. Her third single, “Our Song”, made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Hot Country Songs chart.

She is one of the best-selling artists of all time, having sold more than 40 million albums—including 27.1 million in the U.S.—and 130 million single downloads. She has appeared in Time’s 100 most influential people in the world (2010 and 2015), Forbes’ top-earning women in music (2011–15), Forbes’ 100 most powerful women (2015), andForbes Celebrity 100 (2016). She was the youngest woman to be included in the third of these and ranked first in the latter. In addition to her music career, Swift has appeared in the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2009, the late-night show Saturday Night Live in 2009 and the film Valentine’s Day (2010).

Taylor Swift is in the news as usual and it’s still not all good. It appears her enemies are increasing in number and the list is growing by the day. They include Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and even Pharrell, just to name a few. But what does astrology have to say about this and can we see the rise of her enemies in her horoscope? Will she survive? Is it a case of the tall poppy syndrome where everyone is trying to pull her down and destroy her career?
Having prepared her sidereal horoscope we see that at the time of birth Mars and Sun were in her 12th house of secret enemies which just so happens to be the sixth house of open enemies as well if considered from her natal Moon. With transiting Mars and Saturn also transiting this sensitive sector of enemies, it’s hardly surprising that over the year or two her enemies have increased and have been extremely vocal about their opposition to her. We also see that her sub cycle of Mars under the Jupiter life-cycle commenced on 29 May 2016 and continues until 5 May 2017. Jupiter is a strong karmic obstruction placed in her seventh house of relationships and also business partnerships so we can expect these areas of her life to also be thrown into a tailspin during this cycle.
Astrologically she will continue having problems until this planetary cycle changes in the second quarter of 2017. Both Jupiter and Mars are also juxtaposed in an inimical position which also spotlights this issue of enemies. It is one of the worst placements, being in a 6-8 distance from one planet to another.
After new cycle commences in 2017 it will result in an increased confidence in all aspects of her life. This is the North node cycle and although it doesn’t necessarily mean she will be free of these enemies, she will be able to more easily discard what is being said and continued to improve her professional profile.
Her enemies are also seen by the fact that Mars which rules the 12th house is strongly placed in its own sign. And during this last 12 months Jupiter has been in a square to this 12th house. The transit Mars and Saturn through the sixth house of the lunar chart, is still strongly in swing until September when the influence of Mars will pass. But this still leaves Saturn and its transit in the same position until January 2017 so it’s not until this second transit clears the sixth house from the Moon that we can safely say she will be in a better place.
One point which is completely unrelated to the fact that she has so many enemies currently is the Sun in her 12th house. This indicates problems with government departments and in particular taxation issues. These issues may not surface fully until Saturn is about to leave current sign of transit. At that time she may have to deal with legal issues of this nature.
Taylor is very lucky in our relationships however with the Moon and Jupiter blessing her seventh house of marital affairs and the general public. No wonder she has become so popular over the past few years!
