Astrology Chart

When an astrologer prepares your astrology chart, essentially what he or she is doing is translating the planetary and stellar patterns of the heavens at the time you were born and creating a map so that you can clearly see the relationship between those celestial events and the events and circumstances of your life, at birth, and more importantly in terms of what will happen in the future.

Astrology chart is composed of the positions of the Sun, the Moon, other planets, stellar positions including the location of all of the 12 signs of the zodiac and most importantly the rising sign on the Midheaven. Armed with all these details which require your time, date and place of birth, astrology chart becomes a roadmap for your life and can clearly indicate the strengths and weaknesses of your personality, the potential of your relationships, luck, career, money and many other facets of your life. This horoscope is a mirror of your genetic self and also indicates your karma or the balance sheet of good and bad results to be experienced in this life.

In the astrology chart there are several key components which have to be connected in a seamless manner to make heads or tails of what the horoscope actually means. Here are the primary elements

o    The houses of the Zodiac – which are twelve in number and comprise of a 30° arc of the Zodiac o    The signs of the zodiac-which are also twelve in number and in order are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces o    The planets-which include the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, the North node, the South node, the Ascendant or rising sign, the Midheaven or MC o    The aspects, which include the relationship of the planets to each other and/or to the other signs of the zodiac.

With these factors in mind, the astrologer can then piece together the relationship of all these components and on balance see whether the good outweighs the bad or vice versa. The other important element of astrology is to analyse the cycles of each of these planets and when they are likely to make contact with each other, return to their base positions i.e. where they were at birth, and to jot down a timeline of the positive and negative contacts or aspects and then interpret that for the client.

By knowing when certain aspects or planetary positions take place forecasting becomes clear. As an example, the hard aspects such as the 90° square, 180° opposition, 150° inconjunct produce difficulties and depending on the nature of the planets involved will indicate which area of life those problems will arise. Likewise positive aspects such as the sextile or 60°, trine 120° etc will tell us when the positive cycles are likely to occur.

Sun sign astrology can give you a basic insight into the nature of once character and the general timeline of when events may happen but having your astrology chart calculated and analysed is far superior and can give you a very detailed insight into yourself, your relationships and when the positive and negative cycles of life will occur.
