How are astrology and parenting effectively compatible for upbringing their children?
Certainly, nothing is more important than a stable and loving upbringing for children. And the proper development of character lays the foundation for is to whether or not those precious little lives turn out successful or not. The success or failure of parents rests to a large extent, on the compatibility of the parent-child personalities.
Astrology to the rescue! However, it’s believed that the compatibility and effectiveness of parenting are seen in the combinations of the 12 zodiac star signs.
Astrology yields great insights into not only whether or not personalities are compatible. But what sorts of psychological tools and communications tools can be used to enhance an otherwise difficult parent-child relationship?
And to look at the 144 and permutations and combinations sign by sign would be too voluminous here. So broadly speaking, the star signs are broken up into four categories that determine the essential nature of those characters. They are-

Certainly, the astrology and parenting outcome is not always only dependent on the skill sets of the parents. Therefore, elemental compatibility is a vibrational aspect of how well a parent is able to discipline and mold a young character. Generally, parents and children of the Water family get on well with each other and also with other Earth signs and vice versa. Then, if parent and child fall under the Water and Earth categories or Water and Water categories they generally have a nice balance of emotional and practical elements in their character. And if both parent and child are born under the Earth signs this two can be a compatible duo. But predominantly practical and focused on the acquisition and material security and comforts being developed in the child.
Moreover, fire signs have great compatibility with fire and air elements. Further, they naturally support each other as fire warms air and reciprocally, air fuels fire.
However, star signs of the same element may get on, it may also be a case where there’s no resistance there’s no growth. For example, using a Taurus parent – the child may not be able to develop due to the suffocating protection of that parent. Then, Taurus is also a fixed sign and therefore this obstinate quality makes it hard for either to yield.
- It should also be remembered that each of the 12 star signs falls under either cardinal, fixed or mutable categories. The signs of Aries Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are considered movable and have a changing adaptable quality to them.
- Fixed signs include Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius and these signs tend to be more inflexible, determined, and sometimes less easy to reason with.
- The mutable or common signs tend to borrow from both the fixed and movable qualities and swing between either. This is why the mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces are referred to as dual or convertible signs.
In short, parents falling under these different categories will usually raise their children in accordance with the temperamental qualities of these categories of star signs.
