Donald Trump – Astrological Election Review

default_banner_astrolog

Here’s Donald Trump – Astrological Election Review…

In both Eastern and tropical astrology Donald Trump has the bombastic sign of Leo rising with aggressive Mars also close to that rising point. Some degrees away Pluto the transformer is also rising in the east. This accounts for his brash and egotistical manner and with the recent powerful and beneficial conjunction of Jupiter to the ascending degree and to his natal Mars this accounts for his popularity and the extraordinary response he has received from the general public in his run for the 2016 US presidential elections. Venus now is also along with the sun about the transit these sensitive points in his horoscope.

For the Leo ascendant, Mars is the best planet and its transit now shortly will enter the orb of influence on his rising sign as well is creating a Mars return for him which is quite significant but not without its downside. You can expect some ferocious battles to take place shortly.

From the Vedic astrology point of view he completes his North node 18 year cycle on 16 November 2016 just eight days after the election. These transitional cycles are very important and from my own experience can create problems. These are cuspal shifts and often reflect the lack of power during transition. Yes, Donald Trump may indeed be the front runner at this point in time but it’s likely with the change in life-cycle that his momentum will slow.

Saturn is also causing the much dreaded 7 ½ year cycle for him and edging closer to his lunar position and this will counteract any of the benefits we see from the faster moving and beneficial aspects of Jupiter, Venus and less so from the Sun and Mars to his ascendant and natal Mars. Furthermore, Saturn is currently casting and will continue to cast its powerful 10th house aspect on his ascendant and Mars and is retrograde right now. Mars for the Leo ascendant is a first rate malefic ruling both the seventh and sixth houses. The sixth house is the house of enemies so we can expect these characters to be lying in wait to pounce.

His North node is exalted during this cycle and is in his 10th house which happens to be the seventh lunar house and he was born under a full moon. This gives mixed results and particularly because the 12th house rulership of the moon indicates secret enemies it is eclipsed by the nodal axis means that he still has much to contend with in the coming 12 months or so. The current sub cycle of Mars commences on October 30, 2015, just a couple months away and also coincides with the Mars return in his rising sign.

As mentioned above this is a positive planet for him but can’t be without its aggressive side either. Mr Trump will certainly have his battles cut out for him after October 2015. Although he looks like a front runner now, his prospects to assume the presidential role will diminish over the coming months. Expect some seedy revelations to surface soon.

The Star of Bethlehem and your Current Karma

default_banner_astrolog

Christians celebrate Christmas or the birth of Christ on December 25 but that particular event was heralded by the spectacular conjunction of Venus and Jupiter which at this time – for the first time in 2000 years is occurring again right now. This is none other than the Star of Bethlehem followed by the three wise astrologers who eventually made their way to the manger according to biblical stories, making offerings of gold, gems, frankincense and myrrh to the new-born King. Although these two celestial bodies are planets this merger is termed a superstar!

This conjunction is still happening in the heavens right now and astrologically is one of the most beneficial of planetary duos. It’s regarded as a fortunate configuration because Jupiter and Venus are considered the greater benefics amongst the planets. As this spectacular conjunction brightens the skies over these few days it points to what part of life is lucky for each and every one of us. It indicates where we can focus our attention with love, creativity and openness to attract not only material wealth but spiritual benefits as well.

Depending on your Sun sign, the Star of Bethlehem will light up your chart in the specific house or direction giving you clear messages as to where your good fortune may occur now.

Aries, there’s no time to waste especially in your professional arena where you can experience upliftment of your status and financial circumstances. Don’t be afraid to expand into those areas that you feel love, passion and connectedness with the work that you do. This is an especially lucky period for you and it would be a shame for you to miss the chance to do the best you can with what life and karma offer you now.

Taurus, you generally enjoy home and family life but this rare combination of planets indicates your domestic sphere should be one that offers you heightened happiness and good fortune now. As well some of you have the opportunity to acquire property, cars and other fixed assets which in the long term will provide you that additional security the Taurean Bull needs and craves.

Gemini, as this wondrous superstar brightens your third house of communications, the flavour of your Gemini Sun sign will reach epic proportions especially with your ruling planet Mercury now also in your Sun sign. This combined influence of Mercury, Venus and Jupiter is spectacular and will give you an awesome sense of command over language, the ability to persuade others and to contractually come out on top. Now you will feel clear and decision-making should be an enjoyable experience with positive outcomes.

Cancer, don’t be afraid to use this Star of Bethlehem energy to attract gifts, goodwill and an enhanced ability to earn money, win favours from others and to step up your material gains. You could feel secure now but by the same token be careful that you share a little of your good fortune with others as this will enhance your karma and keep the good luck wheel spinning for everyone not only yourself. Family affairs will also provide you comfort and happiness now.

Leo, you are dazzlingly beautiful now with this Venus and Jupiter conjunction still spending time in your Sun sign. Others will gravitate towards you and your feelings of generosity and kindness will attract a great deal of luck to you. You are your own best asset at this time and this planetary combo is channelling huge amounts of pure, loving, spiritual energy through you and around to your environment. Don’t be afraid to ask for what you want as your irresistible charm will hypnotise others.

Virgo, the Star of Bethlehem has a unique significance for you as Virgo is the sign of the virgin and according to Christian tradition mother Mary was indeed a virgin. This Venus and Jupiter conjunction in your 12th house signifies an amazing upswing in spiritual energy, the desire and opportunity to charitably help others less fortunate than yourself. By using these powers now and rendering service, selfless assistance to those less fortunate, your karma will increase a thousand times for the better.

Libra, expansion, beauty and social interactions highlight this magnificent conjunction of Venus and Jupiter, otherwise known as the Star of Bethlehem, in your 11th house of friendships and business profits. You are lucky now in any sort of business you attempt and have the assistance and moral support of friends and family. Something at this time will be fulfilled, perhaps a lifelong desire. Dare to dream, to feel confident that the Universe will provide – and it will be so.

Scorpio, throughout this cycle a breakthrough can occur, and you are lucky with an unexpected opening that you’ve sensed for some time arriving. Miraculously the problems you’ve had especially in your professional life will start to lift and you can feel it palpably. Now is the time to ask for favours from your employer, and confidently request extra money. It’s also appropriate to acknowledge your own inner power and abilities. You can easily go for that coveted position and come out a successful winner.

Sagittarius, your understanding of things is opening up; you’re expanding your higher mind and consciousness to understand the deeper mysteries of life. You also have a natural affinity with legal matters and if you’ve been bogged down in some sort of controversial issue, court case or bureaucratic red tape you can breathe a sigh of relief as this conjunction of Venus and Jupiter, like twin guardian angels, easily removes these obstructions from your life. For those of you on the spiritual path you could meet a mentor or guru who can who can help you move to the next stage of your development.

Capricorn, luck may arrive from unexpected quarters and perhaps even those areas in life that are somewhat taboo. Issues of shared money, debts owed to you, long-awaited taxation checks and even lotteries or inheritances are the highlights of this wondrous Venus and Jupiter conjunction which is termed the Star of Bethlehem. The full moon in your Sun sign is also a powerful testimony of good fortune from others and if you’re looking for seed funding for a business project or thinking of going into partnership with someone to increase your income now is the time to do it as you do have luck on your side.

Aquarius, your committed relationships, marriage and business partnerships too are extraordinarily lucky now. The love and respect that may have been waning in your romantic affairs is restored and there’s a new lease of life and level of intimacy that is especially endearing. Communication between you and your partner will reach a pinnacle and so this is a very favourable period in your life. The current full moon in your 12th house indicates a need to share your love in a quiet environment without the interference of others

Pisces, by serving others you may have already learned that fortune will tend to favour you as a result. Excellent opportunities arise as a result of the Venus and Jupiter conjunction in your sixth house of workplace activities and service. If you happen to be an employer, hiring good staff now will also be a feature of this very rare planetary combination. Do be careful not to overspend as credit cards can be also tempting under this generous conjunction. Give what you can afford and remember that the spirit in which you give is also representative of your wealth and good fortune.

Neptune: Dreaming your Way to Success

default_banner_astrolog

What are your ideals? We all dream and strive to look for something beyond what we have, something that we can work towards, and after which we attain can say “I did it”. But usually these dreams are exactly that, simply imagination gone wild! Pipe dreams, that’s all.

Your dreams and ideals are shown by the planet Neptune. But this planet isn’t an easy one to deal with and also represents those areas within you that are veiled or hidden out of view. And on the outside as well, those areas where you’re likely to be deceived, let down and magically hypnotized  into believing something or other which is not true.  Neptune relates to the illusion, to that which doesn’t yet exist but to which you aspire, and continue to nurture with the expectation and the hope of finding yourself in that dream someday by making it a reality.

Some are able to manifest the dream, but others aren’t. Are you someone who will eventually attain your dream, unlike the vast majority or will you, like them, simply keep dreaming the repetitious dream rather than making it a tangible reality, something you can experience and enjoy as a combination of dreams and hard, protracted yet smart work.

Successful and not so Successful Dreamers – The Differences

There’s a gulf between those who attain and those who don’t, the primary difference being passion. We’re not talking about sexual passion although sexual passion usually accompanies an inner, driving passion for success and to manifest as real the dreams and creative visualizations you project. The successful dreamer is someone who has not only planned but been extremely methodical in feeding the fire of desire by the fuel of daily work, practice, business planning, and strategically defining the path towards their pot of gold called a dream.

By looking at Neptune’s placement at the time you were born we can see precisely where those desires and obstacles to your dreams lay. To a large extent the dream itself is the largest obstacle in that it distracts and seductively allures you away from the practicality of what needs to be done to attain your objective. If an unsuccessful dreamer it lulls you into a perpetual dream state, that state of mind where you think and talk about what you want or what you will eventually become but never quite achieving it. Unsuccessful dreamers, even on their death beds continue to believe that somehow those dreams of fifty years mysteriously come to life now in these last moments of life, but only take those dreams off into the next karmic round of birth and death.

The other essential difference between successful and not so successful dreamers is the confidence to act as if what is desired as an objective is in actuality already here. Fear often drives the uninitiated or novices in dreaming or creative visualisation to back off when risks, calculated or not so calculated, are required for the next big leap in life. Successful dreamers develop that confidence into a strong form of courage and trust. These are the prerequisites for success and to a large extent of overcoming the hypnotic effects of Neptune. We must never forget the dream but we must always be anchored in the practicality of what is necessary to attain the goal.

In the horoscope we should always look at the aspects that are formed to Neptune from other planets at the time of birth to study the other influences of impacting upon your success.  Astrology is a delicate art and requires more intuition. than technical skill.  An intelligent astrologer will always opt for intuition over technique. He should be guided by the principles of astrology but use intuitive license to seek out those gems of forecasting and prediction that distinguish and average astrologer from a brilliant one.

Neptune: Spiritual Trickster

Neptune: Dreaming your Way to SuccessNeptune requires a discarding of the veil and to a large extent the patterns and psychological complexes which cause you to deceive yourself and hold yourself back away from what you truly desire, projecting your reason for failure on any number of external factors.  Part of the dream means dropping the dream or the illusion.

The planet Neptune is not often associated with the principles of the ascendant or rising sign but I’d like to talk to you a little bit about that and draw the links between this most nebulous of planets to the ascendant which is often referred to as’ is  the mask. That we all assume some sort of different persona to deal with the world around us is interesting in itself but we all do it. We need to present to the world something that is not necessarily and truly our deepest inner core. We like to not only veneer the physical exterior with make-up, fragrances, eyeliner, bling and other non-verbal objects to define our mask. We sculpt our essential character/personality in the hope that it may impress, just as a fragrance wafts through the room and attracts someone of the opposite sex.

We use these are psychological veneers to be liked, accepted and helped. It this not pretense? Yes and no. The need to deal and integrate into a society with prevailing cultural trends requires adjustments in etiquette and protocol depending on different social settings. The difficulty is the forgetfulness of essential self and the assumption that this acquired ego or mask is us. This self-delusion is the quintessential role of Neptune, and like the Hindu analogy of Mahamaya and the illusion of this cosmos, causes us to forget our essential nature.

With the help of Pluto the tearing down, the stripping back and re-emergence of your essential Self, is the analogy of the Phoenix rising out of the ashes. Whereas Neptune’s job of deceiving and at the same time enlightening you, Pluto still has the job of breaking down, killing and reviving you into a newly transformed being. Not unlike the chrysalis and the process involved in the transformation of one creature into a more glorious form of its predecessor.

Those areas which initially seem like weaknesses or even defects can after careful scrutiny of the horoscope be seen to be the very things you need to achieve your success. Through careful analysis and self-reflection the chrysalis within their own being will emerge.

So I invite you to take advantage of the opportunity, to see what your successes are, how your dreams can become manifest through an understanding using basic astrological tools.  With practical insight you can once again reclaim your future and begin the process of spreading your wings.

Response to a Christian Apologist

default_banner_astrolog

I was recently taken aback by a Facebook post quoting some Bible dictum that we should not love the world. I was completely outraged and day after day realise how religions of all sorts superimpose nonsense on us, or rather we interpret what is written in a nonsensical manner, might be more to the point. Here is my response to a Christian apologist on this point that we should not love this world and should keep focused on what happens after we leave this world.

I was born a Roman Catholic and have read not only the Bible but other Gnostic gospels such as the Apocrypha. On top of that I have studied many other philosophies including Taoism, Buddhism, Kashmir Shaivism, Hinduism, atheism, humanism, and lots of other isms. I’m also very much an avid free thinker and reformist who believes the human race needs to evolve and can’t do so when philosophies like this dominate the culture with fear rather than love. Let’s not forget that the world was still flat according to the Vatican until 1965. Earlier, several centuries ago when Galileo wanted to show the church the truth that the earth revolved around the sun he was excommunicated. Be clear on what the truth means first before espousing a religion which has actually suppressed the truth for centuries. But back to the topic, who said I don’t believe in God just because I choose to have a broad-based view of truth? That’s an assumption on your part. Perhaps I don’t particularly like the term God, that label that has caused so much dissent throughout history, even now, so much death and intolerance.

Response to a Christian ApologistBut here’s the sad thing and that is that I see people, kids, adults, police…all Church going citizens, people who like to be seen as righteous by others, unconsciously throwing trash – paper, cigarette butts, food wrappers on sidewalks after going to Church. They hear the news of global warming, children and media talk about it all the time and the fact that this world is dying environmentally still doesn’t matter because they actually couldn’t give a shit. The planet is dying and these morons, all who robotically visit their churches across the globe to bolster their religious fervour every Sunday, are completely unaware of the world in which they live, the world of which they are a part of, of which they have been born out of matters not and should not be loved. This is probably the case because to a large extent they are conditioned through religious ideology NOT to love the world as in statements and quotes like the one above. Why would anyone of this mind-set even care about the environment, the world, if brainwashed into believing they shouldn’t love it? Think!! Use your God-given reasoning when studying these so-called ancient religious excerpts.

Again, these same people still love to sit down three times a day and eat sumptuous food which is a product of this world, use mobile phones and technology just like what we’re doing here, watch TV, purchase dresses and make up, earn well and buy big houses and fast cars, go to the cinema and restaurants and let’s not forget shopping at the mall. WE all LOVE this world!! That’s why we do all this stuff. The fact that most Christians I see are overweight, many obese, shows that they are either incapable of living these verses or don’t care to include that in their list of easy Christian laws. Obesity is basically gluttony but I guess part of the religious framework has been to push people down and make them feel sinful and unworthy so I can understand burying these feelings of inadequacy and shame with food.

There is a Roman Catholic priest who lives just near me in the neighbourhood and he drives a BMW. This is a rural area and most of the people here are peasants who can barely put rice on the table but he still squeezes a couple of pesos out of them every week to pay for his lifestyle WHILE THEY DONT HAVE RUNNING WATER!! IT’S ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!!!!! There you go, a perfect example of how NOT to love the world which includes these peasants, correct? He’s obviously living this verse from the Bible to the letter no doubt as revealed by his despicable actions. And this is a guy that preaches this stuff from the pulpit’s every week.

You see, there are people who profess a love of the Bible and God and heaven and the afterlife pretending that the afterlife is more important than this life but betray that for example when they cry if someone they love dies, someone of this world, when they know full well that that person is supposedly going to a better place and in the company of God himself. We must look at our attitudes and actions to see exactly where our loyalties lay. You see, the priest above preaches that very same verse that we should not love the world but himself loves the world, like most people who profess the same religious views. I don’t know too many people in this part of the rural country where poverty is the norm who drive a BMW i. Hypocrisy with a capital H.

Yet there are also very good rich people like the billionaire Warren Buffett who give away 99% of all his billions to the poor. He loves the world and obviously the people in it. He still drives a beat up old pickup and lives in the same four bedroom bungalow for the past 40 years. Here is a man of the world who loves the world who has his desires, but still contributes something rather than just sitting ( or preaching) on the pews in the church every Sunday listening to all of the dribble that has been regurgitated for the last 2000 years without any consciousness of what they can do to IMPROVE the world, a world which they say is unlovable and should not be loved.

So, the context I’m talking about is the other verse of the Bible which says you can still be in the world even though not of it and don’t forget, PEOPLE ARE THE WORLD TOO, and religion teaches we should love each other. Are you going to ignore the fact that human beings are part of the world too? How do you filter out what parts of the world are lovable and what parts aren’t? How about a sunset? Isn’t that part of the world? How about music which acknowledges the beauty in nature and art works in museums that expresses the inner joy and happiness of human existence here in this world? Will we eliminate that like ISIS heathens right now in the Middle East who are destroying amazing and priceless historic art pieces because these things are as you say “of this world”? When you start to look at what makes up the world, I doubt very much that anyone I know, even hard-core churchgoers who get there in their cars, in their beautiful dresses, all made up to look pretty for their God ‘LOVE’ the world from what I observe.

How about this for a complete and opposite philosophy, let’s all try an experiment. Imagine if all of us instead LOVE the world AS IF IT IS GOD! What would happen? Would we kill each other, would we pollute the very environment, the natural beauty of where we live and breathe, kill creatures, helpless animals simply for our carnal appetites, to eat something even though there is a commandment also which says Thou shall not kill? Would loving the world as if it is God be any worse than what the history of our human race has been with all that religious indoctrination? Could be worth a try I’d say. Think about it. If you did the exact opposite of the verse mentioned and loved absolutely everyone, everything, every moment as if it was the Supreme God himself how could you possibly go wrong?

No soulmate in sight? Then marry yourself!…

GOOD-KARMA-REINCA-PICMost women who they reach their mid-30s start to focus on family issues and with their biological clocks ticking away having children is uppermost in their minds. But what happens when a woman hits the I-am-running-out-of-time syndrome? Well, one woman found a novel solution and that was to bypass all the dating, online searching and wishful thinking for finding a soulmate and went ahead and married herself!

Grace Gelder 31-year-old single woman who had been without a relationship for 6 years decided to empower herself by arranging her own wedding without a husband and tied the knot with herself. She claims that just because she couldn’t find a man didn’t mean she should be deprived of what almost every woman dreams of is a natural course of life and that is to get married. After proposing to herself in a park one evening she purchased a wedding ring, address and arranged for all her friends and her sister to be part of the special occasion.

Apparently the guests really enjoyed the event at which she conducted the ceremony in the usual way by taking vows, and placing the ring on her finger. Some people might think this is rather egotistical but at least grace has taken the initiative to empower herself and live her life on her own terms. Unfortunately, the downside of this most unconventional story is that the wedding is not recognised by the law or the church.

The problem of terrorism in western countries

default_banner_astrolog

What’s the problem of terrorism in western countries? Know more here….

jihadThis is just a very quick question today, and more thinking out aloud more than anything else. It occurred to me with the growing fear in Western nations and across the globe generally with the rise of terrorism that there must be some simple ways to deal with the intake of large numbers of immigrants who have nefarious intent. Some, not all, want to settle in the West to simply create problems and carry out their maniacal grand Jihad scheme.

Perhaps we should implement some of the most basic personality profiling which is now become commonplace when people apply for jobs. It’s not rocket science. The two-hour test can very quickly evaluate the mental condition and character type of a person. Why isn’t it possible for immigration authorities to implement such a test to screen undesirables from entering a democratic societies? Isn’t that difficult?

The last time I travel to the US, in June last year, I spend at least 2 hours in the immigration line. A two-hour test is all that it would take to evaluate whether or not a person is mentally stable and fit for immigration purposes. This political correctness is getting out of line. What are your thoughts on this?

The ruling planet. Tech Talk with Dadhichi Toth

default_banner_astrolog

Although most of us talk about the position of our Sun sign at the time we are born, we often forget to look at the ruling planet for that Sun sign and see exactly where it was at the time of birth. Both the Sun sign and the rising sign should be taken into account when looking at ruling planets. Actually, according to sidereal astrology, the lunar position is also as important if not more important than the Sun and rising sign.

The problem with year market astrology is that the Sun sign which only comprises of twelve, is often taken as the be all and end all of character analysis and also future forecasting. This is just so limited and gives sceptics open slather to decry astrology and rightly so. The Sun sign position can only at best give a general approximation of character and the events that come. Yes we can get a general idea of what is going on but it’s far better to calculate your horoscope based on the time and place you were born. In this way we can glean so much more information and this then takes into account not just the Sun’s position but also the position of all the other planets.

meditating2-150x150As an example, let’s look at someone who was born with a Sun sign Virgo. Virgo is ruled by Mercury and depending on where this particular planet is at birth it will modulate Virgo accordingly. Mercury can be found in any of the 12 signs with its best position being Virgo itself with its worst being Pisces. If you were to read most of the Sun sign analysis of Virgo it would be clear that those born under this sign of the Virgin are intellectual, calculating and exacting in their opinions of others. Their minds are sharp but they do tend to be hypercritical of others and perfectionist in the way they approach their relationships and life generally. If however this ruling planet Mercury, was to be found in the sign of Pisces we would see an altogether different expression of Mercury as Pisces is its sign of debilitation. A planet which is debilitated does not function as it should and so therefore this particular Virgo native would not exhibit traits which would generally are attributed to it. In fact, this person’s mind would be unclear, scattered and highly emotional. The rational and deductive elements, the earthiness of Virgo would be all but missing due to the influence of the Pisces the water sign.

Another important point which is often overlooked in determining character are the aspects from different planets to the ruling planet. In the above example let’s assume that Mercury is in the water sign of Pisces but also aspected by Mars from let’s say a 90° angle in Sagittarius. This will produce problems, confusion and even a tendency to misrepresenting the truth. The reverse of this is that the person can be taken advantage of because they are unable to clearly decide what the truth of the situation is. Therefore, you can see how general Sun sign readings are but how in-depth and intricate the analysis is particularly if there are several other planets simultaneously aspecting this ruling planet. Sometimes the planets doing the aspecting are diametrically opposed in nature and this is when it becomes tricky to find out exactly how the ruling planet will function. The character likewise becomes all that more complex to decipher.

I always take great pains to explain to people that apart from the technical analysis of a horoscope the astrologer must indeed have a keen intuitive sense, not unlike a doctor. Having a good grasp of technical elements is necessary but no substitute for sharp and intuitive insight. When the astrologer combines both the client will confidently feel that the astrologers assessment will be correct.

The ruling planet itself has certain unique qualities which are expressed irrespective of the sign that it is placed in. The following is a brief rundown on each planet and their general functioning attributes-

  • Sun – full of energy, vitality and life. Bright and successful if placed in good signs and well-aspected
  • Moon – sensitive, changeable and intuitive. Great imagination but a tendency to be too impressionable
  • Mercury – excellent communications, fast and quick grasp of the situation, malleable and an excellent impersonator
  • Venus – loving, sensitive and artistic. Concerned with financial security and an excellent social networker
  • Mars – aggressive, dynamic and somewhat arrogant. Courageous fighter and able to win against all odds
  • Jupiter – intuitive, expansive and jovial disposition. A philosopher and someone who is lucky but at times exaggerates
  • Saturn – able to concentrate, slow mover and sometimes prone to a serious disposition
  • Uranus – progressive, able to do things differently, colourful character and maybe even sometimes harmlessly mad
  • Neptune – psychic, spiritual and able to heal others but with a tendency to become the victim when trying to play the saviour
  • Pluto – ruthless, transformative, great insight into others but also interested in power and its use or abuse

Each of the 12 signs of the Zodiac is ruled by one or other of these planets and as you can see the meanings are rather general. Depending on which sign of the Zodiac each of these planets is located its colour will change, very much in the way that the colour on the palette of an artist are mixed and blended with others to produce completely different colours. This is the way in which the ruling planet’s position and also aspects from other planets determine its actual expression.

To determine the rising sign and ruling planet it is essential to calculate the chart based upon a known birth time, latitude and longitude. If the time of birth is not known we must rely on a sunrise chart or perhaps a lunar chart to determine the nuances of the person’s character and destiny.

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin – Marriage made in Heaven? by Dadhichi Toth

default_banner_astrolog

Featured News: George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin – Marriage made in Heaven? by Dadhichi Toth

George-Clooney-Amal-300x300George Clooney has for many years been a self-proclaimed bachelor but recently his marriage put an end to that. George and Amal were recently married and it’s always a good idea to take a look at how the horoscopes match to see whether indeed George’s now defunct bachelor status is permanent.

Based upon the sidereal Vedic horoscopes we see first and foremost that the lunar stars are in agreement with George’s lunar star being the fourth star to hers. Unfortunately we don’t have theexact birth time for Amal so working on a noon birth time we can only estimate and approximate.

It’s vitally important to see first and foremost the juxtaposition of planets in George’s chart with that of Amal’s. Amal’s lunar position although debilitated is in the eleventh house of friendship and this is always a fortifying aspect between lovers. Apart from the physical and emotional intimacy we would expect from a long-term relationship, the fact that the lunar positions are in a 3-11 combination attests to the fact that apart from the usual sexual and emotional elements George and Amal are indeed very good friends and enjoy hanging out with each other.

Venus also has a lot to say about the satisfaction the couple with have in a relationship.  Once again Venus in Amal’s chart is in the eleventh house from George’s Venus. This again shows a very strong connection socially and their Image courtesy http://au.eonline.com/                                                 activities and lifelong aspirations should generally match. It’s interesting to note on this point that George’s Venus is in the idealistic and spiritual sign of Pisces which is probably why George has spent so many years hedging his bet as a bachelor. His idealism may have found that no-one was able to live up to his expectations and standards. That Amal is now his wife says a lot for who she is and the fact that she must have fairly high standards herself for George to tie the knot.

George-Clooney_001Mars is the sexual planet and in both horoscopes Mars is located in its sign of debilitation in Cancer. Ordinarily this position of Mars is not considered good as it subdues the vital force but in Amal’s horoscope the retrogression of Mars elevates this planet and apart from the fact that it is in a mutual exchange with the moon, debilitating both planets, its retrogression highly enhances its effects so this is positive. Both of them have similar drive and physical need. It appears from this position along with Venus and the moon that they do indeed feel in synch most of the time and based simply on these testimonies it’s likely that this match will be a good one.

We must never forget the communications aspect between a couple and for this we must look at Mercury.  George’s Mercury in Aries with the exalted sun and Amal’s Mercury in Capricorn with the sun shows the challenging demands that may be placed on this relationship through difference of styles and thinking and relating. This is not to say that this will detract from the otherwise good aspects in the horoscope but we do see that this is the one point that will keep the fires burning. Having differences in opinion as long as there is enough mutual respect between the two, ensures a feisty and ever exciting rapport between the two. For this reason I don’t think that this square aspect which is generally considered bad is going to act all that detrimentally for these two.

Another observation which I think is very interesting is the conjunction of George’s Venus to Amal’s south node pointing to the fact that there must be some strong past life connection between this couple. Another important fact associated with this is the very close conjunction with Venus being at 15° of Pisces and the south node in Amal’s chart being at 17° Pisces. The closer the degree the more intense and meaningful the aspect. Also Saturn in Amal’s chart falls very strongly on the north node or future karma aspect of George. Structure will be an important lesson that Amal may need to learn through being with George. Both of them actually have quite a few inter-related aspects in the sign of Capricorn siderially. Jupiter, the moon and Saturn in George’s chart are connected with Mercury, the sun and Venus in Capricorn in Amal’s chart. This is indeed a very structured and practical relationship and financially too both of them will find much in common.

We must always look to the prevailing astrological trends and transits to see exactly what may be happening between the two right now. Right now if we look at George’s current life cycle we see that he is in the tail end of the Jupiter cycle which for him is not a good planet with his Aquarius ascendant. Fortunately that planet is debilitated in the twelfth house and this may account for why he has done so well over the past 10 or 15 years.

Most astrologers are of the opinion that this second and eleventh ruler should necessarily be strong but as this is an inimical planet to the rising sign and its ruler Saturn it’s fall in this twelfth house accounts for the successes that he has had. His coming cycle which commences on 10 February 2015 is his ruling planet and in fact rules not just his ascendant but his lunar position as well. Saturn is in its own place in Capricorn in the twelfth house and this should be a period of change where George pulls back a little bit as the twelfth house is the house of privacy and spiritual aspirations.

We need to see whether or not Amal’s horoscope agrees and as I said earlier because we don’t have the precise time of birth we can only estimate these cycles. For her Amal-Alamuddin_001she is currently in the sun cycle and that continues up until the approximately 4 February 2018. The lunar cycle for her based upon her lunar chart rules the ninth sector and is in the exchange with Mars. These two planets fortify each other and this for her also should be a spiritual period where she should do well in her life. In some ancient scriptures of astrology the ninth house along with the fifth is considered a place of childbirth. We may actually see her looking to fulfill this part of her life but we must also use common sense as her age now may preclude her from doing that. But then again adoption doesn’t necessarily mean one needs to be of a child bearing age. It will be interesting to see how this aspect of her life pans out.

The Saturn cycle in George’s chart and the lunar cycle in Amal’s chart could indicate some emotional constrictions after the 2018 period.  All in all, however, both charts do tend to display quite a bit of agreement with the Mercury-sun squares in both charts adding the challenge that they need to keep this going.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – A brief Vedic Astrological assessment

default_banner_astrolog

Here’s Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – A brief Vedic Astrological assessment…

348px-Brad-PittBrad Pitt’s Vedic horoscope puts his Moon in the otherworldly lunar mansion of Ketu or the South Node as westerners call it. Brad has a deeper hidden philosophical side which becomes more pronounced as he gets older. His connection to women and powerful magnetic appeal is also found in this combination of Moon and Ketu in Sagittarius in the company of Sun and Mercury – all in all a friendly gathering of planets.

The subtle projection of his ascendant is in Capricorn. This does make him somewhat conservative. There is a conventional side to Brad. Also with Saturn and Venus occupying the sign he carries himself and aloof yet charming manner. There are times when he may find it hard to express how he feels.

Angelina has Moon, Mars and Jupiter at right angle to all these planets in Brad’s horoscope. This is challenging to say the least. It’s not good for the lunar positions of a couple to be at right angles. Angelina’s Moon is located in the soft stellar mansion of Mercury. There is no doubt that the karmic influence of the Moon in Brad’s horoscope and of the Moon in Mercury’s this star In Angelina’s scope is a karmic combination and one in which the intellectual side of the relationship is prominent.

Their physical drives at some point will diverge. Brad’s fiery Mars in Sagittarius is awash with the emotional energy of Angelina’s Mars in Pisces. There is a deeply emotional element to Angelina’s character. Being in the sign of Pisces, the sacrificial sign of the Zodiac, this accounts for her deep need to act as an ambassador for those who are less privileged. She has a natural love of people, children and causes for the downtrodden.

Although their Moons are in conflict, they have a reasonably good overall match in general terms. The positioning of Venus is also very important in the assessment of compatibility and in that case the opposite positions of Venus are considered an excellent omen for this couple. There will be a key social and familial connectedness. Both of them enjoy family life and this is probably one of the strengthening aspects of the relationship notwithstanding some of the other challenges that have been mentioned.

By transit the aspect of Saturn throughout this last two years has been a difficult one. The same applies for Brad. Both have had to change their attitudes and adjust to each other in each other’s needs. But because of the beneficial aspect of Venus they have been able to weather the storm.

It’s excellent news that their marriage has now taken place after many years of speculation by the public and fans worldwide. The recent transit of Jupiter into the position of Cancer ( sidereally ) has made contact with Venus the planet of love and in an excellent position from the Moon, Mars and Jupiter trio in Pisces. This is one of the classic transits for marriage or the birth of children. In any case it is a joyous time and one which elevates spirit and brings depth to the relationship.

For Brad the same transit aspect of Venus from the opposite side of the Zodiac is also sign of marriage. I often predict marriage times from this single transit of Jupiter and its twelve year cycle.

Around 2019 Brad may begin a very difficult cycle. This is a real test of his love and commitment to his family.  The strong positioning of Saturn and Venus indicate a loyal personality but one who does need constant attention and affection. That is the conflict of the five planets in Sagittarius and Saturn and Venus in Capricorn creating a pendulum effect which will be pronounced during the transit of 2017 to 2022.

Religion on Earth – an Alien View

default_banner_astrolog

refractionHey planet earth! How is religion working for you I ask, imagining myself as an alien looking down on Earth from a distance some light years away and wondering “What the hell are these Earthlings doing? I ask this question as I repeatedly see the same old global, issues recurring not just year after year but century after century and think to myself that if religion and its leaders were under the same scrutiny as publicly listed companies, they would be deregistered and thrown out on their sorry little backsides yesterday.

I opened the newspaper this week to the story of Israel and Gaza, to a conflict between Jews who worship the Torah and Moslems who worship the Koran to find hundreds being slaughtered in the name of peace and their religions. What a load of BS. Who are they kidding? I see suicide bombers in Afghanistan, Iraq and Africa on a daily basis driving their bomb laden vehicles into schoolyards, police precincts, shopping malls and other public places mutilating thousands if not millions over the years in the name of their peaceful and loving God. Well God forbid! Is it any wonder I like millions of others are turning to atheism and non-religious, freethinking protocols to base their lives upon. How can anyone of religious persuasion look me in the eye and tell me with a straight face that their religion works? It doesn’t. And to argue their case they would say religion does a lot of good… for the poor for example. Well atheists and nonreligious people are just as capable of helping the poor and they do! There are plenty of organisations which are not under the guise of religion and do good for those less fortunate. Take science, the development of medicine and other life saving technologies, produced by many atheists. In fact one must ask whether those less fortunate are being made even more unfortunate looking at the billions and trillions of dollars stowed away in bank accounts under the name of the Lord.

Donations in the billions are funnelled into Vatican accounts and one huuuuge donation which comes to mind is that of the US$50 million given by a South American government to Mother Teresa in the 1980’s specifically earmarked for the poor and underprivileged. This donation was directly transferred to the Vatican bank. Surprise, surprise. Not really, just a plain downright disgrace is what it is. And especially after visiting the Manila-based Mother Teresa institution for the severely handicapped and disabled I found not one piece of medical apparatus available for these poor unfortunate children. This is over thirty years later mind you!! What happened to the money, the ‘donation’? Of course the US$50 million is still sitting in the Vatican account funding a few more golden chalices and bullet proof vehicles for pompous popes to pounce around the global stage in their strange looking hats and mediaeval garb pretending to be doing something other than feeding their own egos and outdated tribal Middle Eastern philosophies.

Enough! I’m sorry folks, but when I see it the underprivileged being downtrodden, political leaders forming alliances with Christian lobbyists obviously based upon backroom deals to give these religious cults more social and political leverage, I have to weep especially when I see one armed children, blind kids and 14-year-old mothers slinging babies around street corners and intersection stoplights for a few measly cents. Most of them are Christian by the way and obviously not recipients of any type of social welfare system these massive religious conglomerates ought have in place given the money in their holy coffers was donated largely by these sub classes themselves. That’s right, I turned away from established religion many, many years ago even though I was raised a staunch Roman Catholic. I was reared in part by my rosary toting grandmother who chanted so many Hail Marys that the metal beads had worn down to the chain obviously fearful of the consequences of her destination in the afterlife if she didn’t conduct her daily 3 to 4 hour ritual. Deep within herself she was driven by fear.

I say reclaim the churches, the money in the Vatican banks, the stockpiles of gold in the temples in India, and set up social funds to hand back money and property to the rightful owners- that is, the people, you and I and everyone else who throughout the previous centuries suffered through fear of eternal hellfire, who paid indulgences in the early days of the church, believing they had purchased their way back into the light of God and to sit on His right-hand side. On the other side of the ‘war’, Muslims with their fabricated story of heaven and eternal salvation and the dozens of virgins waiting to f** them hard and pleasurably for the mass slayings and their own suicide. Think about this deeply, consider the deeply disturbing ramifications of this mentality, mass education and twisted spin which is considered TRUTH. Children who are yet to develop any level of reasoning are indoctrinated into this philosophy at the ear;iest age. Apart from these direct religious atrocities as I call them, and practices which must see millions of aliens on other planets sitting back at their Friday night cinema watching, laughing, there’s no doubt that even some of the more secular atrocities such as the downing of the Malaysian airlines craft with over 290 civilian deaths including 80 children even if not by religious fanatics, would no doubt have been perpetrated by some visiting their churches and temples on a weekly if not daily basis claiming “God is on our side!” as did George Bush and many other notable leaders in history beforew they had their millions of millions trudge off to the slaughter.

These people claim to believe in a supreme being but have absolutely no regard for their fellow man and would mercilessly extinguish the lives of innocents under this gross pretence. With a dismal situation we human beings find ourselves in by hiding behind this farce of religion and spirituality, of so-called goodness. Look in any direction and you will clearly see the travesty, the tragedy and exact opposite of what these religions propose as being the daily norm for most people. I, like the aliens watching must surely dread where we as a race are headed. Worried about endangered species? I’d be listing homo sapiens as number one on that list and in large part to the role religion has and continues to play in the affairs of our misguided race. Beam me up Scottie! As quickly as possible please.
